Has always been cultivated in the area of Prepotto, the Schioppettino cannot be compared with other red wines in the region. For its aromatic spicy characteristics, the wine presents a marked typicality, which derives from the particular interaction between climate and soil (terroir) that is created in the Valley of the Judrio. Thanks to the low yields per hectare, the manual harvest in which the grapes are collected only at maturity, the unmistakable aroma of wild berries, blackberries, blueberries and cherries, it blends harmoniously with a spicy note that recalls the scent of green pepper. Aged in wood, is full bodied and aromatic impression is extremely complex. Is also ideal for moments dedicated to "meditation".
